|SCSI and USB 1.1 interfaces. White background. ADF and Flatbed included.
Using the SCSI interface will provide faster throughput then the USB interface.
|The Adrenaline 450 is a half (1/2) length PCI board (4.72 in. [12 cm] Long x 2.56 in. [6.5 cm] High) with a SCSI II connector and is used to control low to mid-volume document scanners.
This Adrenaline board does not include a license for AIPE. You must either purchase an Adrenaline 650i or a separate AIPE license. Purchasing a VRS Workgroup or Production License includes an AIPE license.
|SCSI cable used to connect a SCSI II scanner to a SCSI II host board. HD 50 pin connectors on both ends.
|Installation includes VRS 4.0 Standard. When installed without the appropriate license information, VRS will run in Demonstration Mode. This causes each image to be stamped with a Kofax Logo.
Scanners that require a VRS Production license MUST purchase a VRS Plus Production license in order to use VRS. Check here to determine the Category of your selected scanner.
Non-VRS use does not require any additional license information.
|Known Issues: VRS 4.0 QC Later is currently not available for Hardware VRS scanners (Bowe Bell+Howell Spectrum, and Fujitsu fi-4860 and fi-4990). Support is scheduled for August 2005 for the Bowe Bell+Howell scanner and at some unknown future date for the Fujitsu scanners. This, however, does not apply to any Software VRS scanner.
