| The Adrenaline 850S is a 1 half (1/2) length PCI board (7 in. [17.78 cm] Long x 4 in. [10.16 cm] High) with a wide-SCSI connector and is used to control mid-volume to high-speed production document scanners. It has on-board Black & White image processing capabilities. |
| SCSI cable used to connect a SCSI III device/host to a SCSI II host/device. The SCSI II connector is an HD 50 style connector while the SCSI III connector is an HD 68 style connector. |
| Known Issues: VRS 4.0 QC Later is currently not available for Hardware VRS scanners (Bowe Bell+Howell Spectrum, and Fujitsu fi-4860 and fi-4990). Support is scheduled for August 2005 for the Bowe Bell+Howell scanner and at some unknown future date for the Fujitsu scanners. This, however, does not apply to any Software VRS scanner.
